About Georgina
Georgina's professional passion for the music industry comes from her love of live music, people, culture and travel.
She graduated with a BA in Music Industry Studies from Cal Poly Pomona. Throughout her career she has held both operational and human resources roles in hospitality and music. Her past experiences include, a music editor for a local magazine, managing local artist and touring with local artist across the country and internationally. Georgina is now a Regional HR Business Partner for the Touring, Premium Ticketing, Las Vegas and Comedy groups at AEG Presents.

Note from Georgina:
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. It took me 10 years to land my dream job and build my career in the industry. The outlet for mentorships, internships and a lot of mentorship programs didn't exist for me when I was starting my career. I would like the opportunity to give back and be the person I wish I had when my career in the music industry. It has been a challenging industry to navigate and I would love to share my experiences, insights and my expertise within the music industry.
Looking forward to helping mentor students, women and junior professionals and giving insight into the music industry.
A little more about myself;
I was born in Los Angeles, CA but raised in Las Vegas, NV. In 2009 I moved back to California to purse the “California Dream.” I am the oldest of 2 daughters, and I hail from a large extended family with roots in Mexico. I started playing guitar at the age of 14 and am classically trained. I count The Beatles, Guns N Roses and Pink Floyd amongst my favorite bands. The sounds of the 60's, 70's and 80's is what sparked my passion for music.
